Sephora Opening

I went to my local Sephora opening, I wasn't one of the first 50 to arrive so I missed out on a gift card but I got this cute little make-up bags filled with samples.

While I was there I did pick up a three piece Sephora Collection Pore Perfection Kit

Easy outline manicure tutorial!

What you'll need:
I'm using Nailene nails, using fake nails makes it easiest to paint the border. You'll also need a nude polish and your choice of outline colour. I'm using O.P.I's Coney Island Cotton Candy and Essie's Pink Parka

Trim and file the nails to your liking then paint a base coat of your nude polish
After the base polish has dried I used some presstik to stick the nail onto the end of a paint brush just to make it easier to handle. Using your outline colour carefully drag the brush along the edge of each nail. Using a matte polish can make it easier to fix mistakes because it doesn't remove the lower layers of polish.
Once you've carefully outlined each nail, paint with a top coat! Here's the finished look.

My leopard accent nail is a Nail Fraud Leopard print sticker from Urban Outfitters.

If you've got a steady hand or after some practice you can use a thin paint brush to paint directly on to your nails. These are both from Michael's, make sure you clean all left over polish off with nail polish remover or acetone after each use.

DIY: Ombre hair

My first attempt at ombre hair was a success!
Before & After

I used  Loreal Superior Preference Les Blondissimes in LB02 Extra Light Natural

  1. Read the instructions on your hair dye and make sure you understand and follow them carefully
  2. Wear a shirt you wouldn't miss if it were ruined or cover your clothes with an old towel or plastic bag
  3. Part your hair down the center and start by saturating the tips of your hair, let the dye sit for 1/3 the total time allowed or necessary  for your hair type . I let mine sit for 20 minutes because I have very dark and thick hair.
  4. Saturate the next section of your hair just above the tips and add a little more to the tips and leave for another 1/3 of the allotted time.
  5. Saturate the third and final section and add a little more dye to the other two sections and leave for the remaining time.

Yellow lights

I was browsing online when I came across a photo of American Apparel's Neon's. I loved the Neon Yellow and decided to try it for myself. Since the AA in my city closed down and the next closest one if four hours away I had to find an alternative. I got this China Glaze polish in Celtic Sun for $6 from Sally's. Because Neon colours are formulated differently they can often highlight all the ridges on your nail bed, I went with Nailene nails. I got mine from Wal-Mart for $6 and it comes with 200! I chose my nail sizes, painted them, glued them down with my Kiss nail glue (that I had from a previous set), painted them with my O.P.I no chip top coat and filed them to a short comfortable length! I've worn them out, to the gym, to Uni and they're still solid!

Stay Gold ♡

I'm obsessed with glittered nails and half-moon patterns, I merged the two into this cute ombre mani!
I used Revlon's Minted, OPI Top Coat and gold glitter from a $1 four pack from Michaels Craft Store.
I painted one coat and let it dry.
After the first coat had dried I painted a second thin coat and with a light fluffy paint brush dusted the glitter starting from the base of my nail.
And finally finished them up with my OPI Top Coat.

Deco Blackberry case ♡

I've been working on a deco phone case for my Blackberry and this is what I've come up with so far. I've got gaps to fill in and some pieces to replace and we're in business.
